Michael Ellis appointed international director, Michelin Guides

Boulogne, France - New Yorker Michael Ellis has been appointed international director of Michelin Guides.
In a 1 Aug statement, Michelin said the food enthusiast's entire management career has been internationally focused. Ellis has worked in the packaging sector, the tourism industry and in wine and spirits.
Since 2007, Ellis was vice president, marketing and sales, for Michelin's two wheel tyre division.
After graduating from Johns-Hopkins University, Washington DC, with a Masters in Advanced International Studies, Ellis attended INSEAD business school where he earned an MBA in 1987. Speaking English and French, he is also fluent in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
