London / Akron -- The editors of the Global Tyre Report, the annual statistical review of the world's tyre industry produced by Tire Business, remind all tyre manufacturers worldwide that the submission deadline for survey responses is this week.
Tire Business produces the Global Tyre Report annually together with its sister publications Rubber & Plastics News and European Rubber Journal. The 2011 Global Tyre Report will appear in the Sept-Oct edition of European Rubber Journal, though the data may appear earlier in editions of the other publications.
The GTR, the 26th annual such special issue, features the publications' exclusive ranking of the world's largest tyre makers, production and employment data on hundreds of tyre factories operated worldwide, summaries of the leading tyre makers' financial performances and their investment strategies and profiles of trends, markets, etc.
