Ukrainian security services capture Rosava tyre plant
ERJ staff report (LMH)
Kiev, Ukraine - Ukrainian tyre maker Rosava's plant has been “captured†by personnel representing the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Rosava told ERJ in a 1 Aug email statement.
The company claimed that the “invaders†did not show documents giving authority for these actions, but referred to a decision made by the prosecutor general.
“We are unpleasantly surprised by the actions of the impudence of the SBU,†said Vadim Tatus, chairman of the supervisory board of Rosava in the statement.
The statement said that the plant is currently paralysed and more than 5000 employees are gathered outside the plant.
ERJ contacted SBU about this story but so far has not received a response.
