Tokyo - Yokohama's tyre sales company in Australia, Yokohama Tyre Australia Pty., Ltd. (YTA), has obtained ISO 14001 certification. YTA's activities in this area were reviewed by the Australian examination organisation SAI Global Limited, and certified. YTA is the second of Yokohama Rubber's overseas tyre sales companies to be accredited under ISO 14001, following Yokohama Tire Taiwan Co., Ltd.
YTA was established in 1976 and has 71 employees as of the end of July 2011. With its head office in Silverwater, New South Wales, it sells tyres for passenger cars, trucks and buses, construction and mining equipment nationwide.
