Hexpol completes restructuring following acquisition of Excel

Stockholm -- Hexpol AB has completed its integration of Excel Polymers Group. The company has re-introduced the names of Burton Rubber Processing, Colonial Rubber Works and Chase Elastomer.
Writing in the company's internal newsletter, Tracy Garrison, CEO of Hexpol Compounding NAFTA and CEO of Excel Polymers, said, "Integration is now fully complete." He added, "We now have the largest group of elastomer chemists and field technical service team of anyone in the business." He cotinued, "Speed to market via Real Innovation is our focus."
Garrison said, "These brands exemplify world class manufacturing with care for our
associates and true support of our customers. For many, many years these brands
stood for Best in Class and today within the HEXPOL family, once again speak
volumes to our long term commitment to the market place"
