Kama claims good results on tyre tests
ERJ staff report (DS)
Nizhnekamsk, Tartarstan - Kama claims that on-road tests with Logistics company Omega have shown that the company's products offer long life.
Starting im May 2011, the company sought to identify vulnerabilities in its tyres in different road conditions. Tyres KAMA NT-201 in size 385/65R22.5, designed for trailer axles were selected for the test programme.
Tatneft said, “Tyres KAMA NT-201 mounted on the trailer covered distance of 30,000 km on a route Magnitogorsk - Moscow - St. Petersburg - Chelyabinsk - Magnitogorsk, with virtually no wear and tear: the tread depth remained the same - 16 mm. The tyres pressure also turned out to be within the standard values. According to the driver of the motor-vehicle train "NT-201 tyres are soft, not noisy and they ensure good controllability, both on dry and on wet roads."
