Mike Wise to head up new UK fleet tyre business by Delticom

Hanover - Former Fleet managing director at Kwik-Fit Mike Wise has joined online tyre retailer Delticom to head up a new online fleet tyre business in the UK.

The new business will be driven through a website called www.fleettyres24.co.uk, Delticom said in a 31 Aug news release.

Delticom, which operates in the UK as mytyres.co.uk, said the fleet department will be focusing on the supply of tyres for cars, vans, trucks and motorcycles at “low continental style” prices.

Commenting on his new business role at Delticom, Wise said, “We will principally be targeting the SME market, however, any business large or small will be able to benefit from opening an account which can be done simply by visiting our website.”

Fleettyres24.co.uk will offer the fleet market over 100 tyre brands and 25 000 tyre models along with a comprehensive winter tyre and wheel stock, an important facility bearing in mind the bad winters the UK has been suffering in recent years.
