Singapore -- Zeon Corp held a ground-breaking ceremony for its new solution-SBR plant in Singaopre on 1 September.
The plant is expected to come on stream in July 2013, with a capacity of 30 to 40 kt/year; a second phase of the same capacity is due on stream in early 2016.
The plant is designed to serve demand for speciality elastomers used by te tyre industry to make fuel-efficient tyres.
