Public Hearing on American SR Co. set for 11 October

Louisville Kentucky -- The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control Board (APCB) has scheduled a public meeting to hear views on a proposed switch from toluene to other solvents at American Synthetic Rubber Company.
The company has proposed to convert all its SBR and BR manufacturing processes from using toluene as an organic solvent to using a mixture of cyclohexane and methylcyclohexane.
The public hearing on this proposed permit is scheduled for 11 October, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. in the Ballroom, Memorial Auditorium, 970 South 4th Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40203
