Yokohama posts 'Tyres 101' video for consumers

Fullerton, California -- Yokohama Tire Corp. has posted a fourth video in its consumer-friendly educational video series, “Tire Tips,” on YouTube.

The new 90-second installment, called “Tires 101,” features Fred Koplin, Yokohama's director of marketing communications, explaining the difference between various types of tyres.

“When it comes to tyres, consumers have heard the terms 'summer,' 'winter' and 'all-season,' but they may not necessarily know what the terms mean,” said Koplin. “In this video, we explain, in an easy-to-follow format, the differences between the three tyres and the driving conditions they are best suited for.”

Yokohama plans to release addition videos focusing on maximising fuel efficiency, reading a tyre sidewall and shopping for tyres in a tough economy.
