Conference on East European tyre industry set for 20-21 October

Vienna - The 5th CEE Rubber & Tire Markets Summit takes place on 20-21 October 2011 in Vienna. Organisers say they expect a big turnout with key speakers from Apollo Tires and Bridgestone presenting papers at the event. Additionally, CMAI Europe GmbH, Braskem Europe, LMC International and Styron Europe GmbH will be addressing demand-supply dynamics and the impact of rising raw materials costs.

A key issue to be raised during the one-and-a-half day conference said the organisers, is on prices of synthetic and natural rubber that have risen amid rising crude prices and harvest woes. The conference will also present forecasts on regional CEE economies, green trends in tyre market, EU regulations and their impact on tyre trade and an assessment of what to expect in 2012.
