AAC develops AV mounts from nitrile rubber
ERJ staff report (DS)
Hyde Park, New York -- Advanced Antivibration Components has developed a range of nitrile rubber-based anti-vibration mounts. The housing is made of zinc plated steel and the isolator is made of a nitrile rubber compound which, says AAC, offers excellent pliability and elasticity.
Typical applications include their use under controllers, large pumps, fans, motors, compressors, and other medium load equipment. Their durometers are 45 and 60 ± 5.
The maximum recommended load of the 6 isolators in the series ranges from 510 kgf to 1632 kgf (1124 lbf to 3598 lbf).
