Bridgestone Europe to raise tyre prices from 1 October

Brussels - Bridgestone Europe said some tyre prices will increase across Europe throughout the fourth quarter of 2011.

Effective 1 October , Winter Passenger, Light Truck and 4x4 tyres will increase by an average of 5 perent across Europe. Bridgestone wanred that this is an average figure and some markets may see higher increases, while others will be lower.

Agricultural tyres will increase by an average of 4 percent across Europe from the same date.
