Elastopôle holds nanomaterials summit today

Orleans, France - French rubber and polymer association Elastopôle is holding its third Scientific Council meeting - this time focusing on the theme of nanomaterials.
The event is being held 5 Oct in Tours, France, and will look at how nanomaterials have a major role in the development of new properties and improved performance in rubber and polymers.
Presentations will be given by a number of key players in the field such as experts from industrial chemicals group, Arkema, and from researchers in the area.
Elastopôle, which was founded in 2006, created a Scientific Council at the start of 2010 and appointed Claude Janin as the head of the council. The Scientific Council is charged with developing new ideas and innovations. Janin and his team identified six areas for priority research, including nanotechnology, green materials, and rubber substrates.
