ERJ staff report (LMH)
Debica, Poland - Polish tyre company Debica has said it is among the largest Polish exporters with a rate of 75.7 percent, according to a ranking by national newspaper Rzeczpospolita.
Debica said in a 26 Oct news release that out of its revenue of almost PLN 1.8 billion (Euro 414 million) in 2010, nearly PLN 1.4 billion came from exports. Debica ranked 37th in the poll, which judged the percentage of exports out in total sales.
Jacek Pryczek, CEO of Debica, said its position as one of the largest exporters was due to close cooperation with its strategic shareholder, Goodyear.
Debica noted that many of the companies that had the largest percentage of exports were automotive companies, or companies working for the automotive industry.
The company also said that it climbed 44 places in the list of biggest Polish companies, from 213th position in 2010 to 169th place in 2010.
