Nankang wins 'Taiwan Excellence' award

Taipei, Taiwan - Nankang Rubber Tire Corp. Ltd. has won a “Taiwan Excellence Award 2012” for six products in the competition's tyre category from among 1,145 competitive products entered.

The tyre maker picked up the award for its ECO-1eco tyre, “new era” PCR NS-20, FT-9 off- road tyre, 3D sipe winter tyre SV-2, asymmetrical winter tyre ESSN-1, and the MCR Roadiac.

Underscoring Taiwan's advancement towards world-class standards in terms of product innovation, design, marketing and quality, Nankang described the “Taiwan Excellence” award as “the highest accolade given to products encompassing the 'innovalue' spirit since 1992.” The award cites “revolutionary design, outstanding quality and excellent value,” according to the company, and also “epitomises the unique talents that create innovative designs and manufacturing process of leading-edge products.”

Nankang said in a press release that as a tyre company it has always “focused on meeting our customers' driving needs, and used innovative technologies to achieve high-performance and cost-effective purpose that deliver better safety, efficiency, and green living for drivers.” The “Taiwan Excellence” honor “is an excellent symbol for our company to show our superior quality in global market,” the company added.
