Eastland Compounding installs new mixer

Manchester, UK -- UK-based Eastland Compounding has Installed a new mixer, to replace an older line. The new machine was installed in early June and represents an investment of £500,000 (euro 623,000).
The mixer was purchased from Carter International Ltd Rochdale and was a straight replacement for the previous unit, whic was also a Carter MK6 - 160 Litre and included a new Hydraulic Hopper and new improved cooling and lubrication system. Eastland also added a new control system with the option to view live mix cycle data from any location connected to the internet.
Eastland said it has been monitoring wear and decided to replace the mixer before seeing any deterioration in quality.
