GiTi plans for global growth

Essen, Germany -- A series of senior executives from GiTi Tire spoke at the dealer conference held around the Reifen show in Essen earlier this month. The message was that GiTi will continue to grow profitability in 2012 and 2013 by gaining volume share in mature markets and achieving breakthroughs in emerging countries,
GiTi Tire, saw worldwide revenue grow to US$2.9 billion in 2011 from US$2.38 billion in 2010, a 16.1 percent increase. Europe accounted for 33.3 percent of export market revenue in 2011, rising from 21.5 percent in 2010. The latest figure is almost double the 17 percent achieved in 2009. The European Tyre Labelling Regulation and its implications were outlined by the company's Technical Director - Europe, Lennart Lindstrom.
Further keynote speakers included Dr Enki Tan, Executive Chairman for GiTi Tire who focused on the importance of solid and transparent partnerships with our customers across the globe and Hervé Richert, Executive Director of Sales & Marketing (International) for GiTi Tire who outlined the current state of international markets.
