NR prices ease over the weekend

London - Rubber prices moved down over the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract fell by around 2 percent during the weekend to close at yen 250 ($3.14) on Monday 09 July. Shorter-dated prices were also down, to close around yen 244 on Monday. evening.

In Singapore, the January TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 8 cents at $2.94; August prices were also down, trading around $2.90 in evening trading.

In India, NMCE said August prices jumped by 6 rupees to close at Rs 184 ($3.28). August prices were also lower at just over Rs 184.

In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for July closed up a fraction at Yuan 24.2 ($3.80) per kilo on Monday. August prices were marginally lower at yuan 24.15..
