Nizhnekamskshina to add car tyre capacity with MAXX machines

Nizhnekamsk, Tartarstan -- Nizhnekamsk tyre production reached 38 percent of the Russian production of tyres, according to a speech by Shafagat Takhautdinov, General Director of Tatneft, parent of Nizhnekamskshina.
The company is also installing the latest MAXX tyre building stations from VMI. Takhautdinov said the robotic assembly equipment MAXX will be delivered to OAO "Nizhnekamskshina" before the end of this year, which will allow increasing the production capacity of Kama-Euro and Viatti tyres by one and a half times up to 4.5 million tyres.
