NR prices ease on Tuesday

London - Rubber prices trended downwards on Tuesday 04 September. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed down by 3 yen at just under yen 225 ($2.87) after the day session on Tuesday. Shorter-dated prices were unchanged, to closeat yen 222 on Tuesday afternoon.
In Singapore, the March 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX fell by 2 cents at around $2.63; October 2012 prices also eased, to trade around $2.58 toward the end of the Tuesday evening session.
In India, NMCE said September prices rose fractionally to close just above Rs 173 ($3.12). October prices also rose by a rupee, to close at just over Rs 170.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for September fell by 0.1 to close at Yuan 21.4 ($3.37) per kilo on Tuesday. October prices also eased by 0.2 to close at yuan 21.5.
