ERJ staff report (LMH)
Paris - French rubber and polymer association Elastopôle has received the final evaluation report of the organisation's activities in its first four years (2008-2011), as rated by the French Ministry of Industrial Recovery.
Elastopôle was rated in eight areas, and received an above average rating in five of these, including strategy, development of R&D, and developing fruitful collaborations.
The organisation also responded to the areas where it received below average scores, including the impact of the association, where it scored 1/5. Elastopôle noted in a 5 Sept news release that it is still a relatively young association. The release also stated that it has carried out more than 50 projects, some of which do not show tangible results but which have helped to consolidate the French rubber industry.
Elastopôle highlighted factory research project that has helped to identify and prioritise ten topics, which must be addressed in order to ensure the competitiveness of the French rubber industry. It also noted the work it has done in training, promotion and information sharing with other organisations.
