Trelleborg launches all-season rubber track for compact track loader applications

Rome – Trelleborg Wheel Systems is set to launch an all-season rubber track, designed for all-year use by compact track loaders.

The all-season CRT-800 track features “advanced rubber compound and superior traction”, and “outlasts and outperforms other tracks in its class,” said Trelleborg 24 Aug.

“With no need for seasonal changeovers, operator costs remain low, as the all-season is built to deliver optimal performance in all situations,” said Mike Giordano, segment manager for rubber tracks at Trelleborg Wheel Systems.

Suitable for various winter, mud, sand and turf conditions, the track is also claimed to offer “sharper braking for improved safety, a smoother ride for enhanced driver comfort, and increased turning ability for jobs in tight spaces.”

According to Trelleborg, the track features a continuous wound cable bundle which provides strength and flexibility to the track, preventing overstretching, eliminating weak spots caused by joints, and reducing the frequency of track adjustments. 

Furthermore, the brass coating also “minimises cable oxidation, reduces cable fatigue and maximises operating life.”
