IRP to extend group’s position in medical device and aerospace & defence markets
Long Beach, California -- Integrated Polymer Solutions (IPS), a California-based portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired elastomeric sealing components manufacturer IRP Group, IPS announced 18 Feb.
With facilities in southern California, IRP is focused on both the rapidly expanding class I and II medical device market – due to its liquid silicone rubber moulding capabilities – as well as the aerospace & defence market.
IPS supplies elastomeric components and tools for aerospace, military, medical and industrial markets. Its product portfolio includes elastomeric seals, gaskets, tooling, hoses, ablatives, EMI/RFI/thermal shielding products, encapsulated O-rings and ducts.
As well as its main facility in Long Beach, IPS operates production facilities in Sheffield, UK, San Diego, California, and Westchester, Pennsylvania – each unit transforming rubber materials into parts of larger OEM assemblies.
IPS that will “continue [IRP's] growth trajectory in our critical markets while developing our employees and delighting our customers with strong technical solutions, excellent delivery and quality performance,” said Rod Trujillo, founder and CEO of IRP.
As senior advisor and significant investor in IPS, Trujillo added that he is “looking forward to supporting the company's future business expansion, especially in the specialty medical components sector."
