Currently group director of sales and marketing, Lubin Ozoux will take the helm at the beginning of 2021
Kobe, Japan – After leading Sumitomo Rubber South Africa Ltd. for the last eight years, Riaz Haffejee will be replaced by Lubin Ozoux as chief executive officer and executive director, Japan-based parent company Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. said 1 Dec.
Sumitomo Rubber SA manufactures the Dunlop, Sumitomo and Falken tire brands on the continent of Africa.
Currently group director of sales and marketing at SRSA, Ozoux will take over the roles at the beginning of January 2021.
Ozoux joined SRSA in 2017 as director of exports in Africa, where he expanded the company's footprint in the region.
Prior to SRSA, he worked for the Hilti Corp. for 11 years in an international role, gaining experience in sales, marketing, engineering and management.
Haffejee will remain with SRSA through January 2021 to assist with the leadership transition, according to the Japanese company.
