Package for optimising spare-parts strategy and timely prevention of machine failures
Fridingen, Germany – Rubber moulding machine manufacturer Desma has introduced a new service to increase plant-availability at customer facilities
Desma’s ‘service commitment package’ is “individually tailored to the customer's needs, according to a statement supplied 31 Aug by the company.
The service, it said, defines preventive maintenance assignments based on requirements, towards optimising the spare-parts strategy and timely prevention of machine failures.
All necessary jobs, including the management of the hydraulic oil and preventive maintenance and servicing with SmartPredict, can be individually integrated, stated Desma.
Under the hydraulic oil-change regime, filling lasts the whole life of the machine, with retrofit packages available for the oil-sensor technology, additional filter systems and complete oil-reconditioning on the machine.
For its D 969.300 Z Sealmaster S3 machine, Desma offers a retrofit kit which, depending on the cycle sequence, can deliver savings of up to 3 seconds on a cycle.
