Part of plan to transform “from a premium tire business to a leader in mobility solutions”
Brussels – Bridgestone EMIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa) has announced a significant restructure within its sales leadership structure.
Current Bridgestone EMIA VP commercial replacement and OE, Steven De Bock, will become VP EMIA consumer replacement and OE.
With Bridgestone since 2002, De Bock has held multiple roles throughout his time within the company, including being responsible for its TBR and retread businesses.
Additionally, current VP EMIA consumer OE, Mark Tejedor, has been appointed VP EMIA commercial replacement and OE.
Tejedor joined Bridgestone in 2014 as VP south west region, before moving to his current position.
Furthermore, Mirella Cielo, who has had an “instrumental” role over three years within Bridgestone EMIA’s consumer replacement organisation, is join Bridgestone Americas as president consumer replacement tire sales, US and Canada.
De Bock and Tejedor have “played starring roles since they arrived in the business,” commented Bridgestone EMIA CSO, Daniel Giroud in the 24 Aug announcement
They will, he added, “continue to do so as our business transforms from a premium tire business to a leader in mobility solutions.”
“While we’re of course sad to see Mirella leave the region, she remains a key part of Bridgestone; our colleagues in North America are very lucky to have her,” concluded Giroud.
