Event was originally scheduled to be held in Abidjan in May but was postponed to September due to Covid
Abidjan – The World Rubber Summit 2020 (WRS 2020) has been cancelled and the next edition of the event will be held in 2021, according organisers, the International Rubber Study Group (IRSG).
The conference was originally scheduled to be held in Abidjan, on the 4-6 May 2020, but was postponed to September due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
In a 5 Aug statement, the IRSG said this year’s event will not be held due to travel restrictions, containment measures by the government of Côte d’Ivoire, and the health & safety of participants.
The organising steering committee is considering the months of April, May or June for the 2021 edition of the show and will announce the new dates “in due course”.
