Italian calender manufacturer sees hike in orders between March and July
Solbiate Olona, Italy – Rodolfo Comerio, an Italian manufacturer of calendaring lines for rubber and PVC industries, has reported a 15% increase in second quarter revenue on the back of a “huge order hike”.
In a written statement to ERJ 4 Aug, the manufacturer said it saw a spike in orders between March and July, despite Covid pandemic.
In addition, the company is currently working on other “confidential projects” which would be announced over the coming months, said a Rodolfo Comerio spokeswoman.
The company did not, however, disclose sales figures.
Delivery time for the orders, 60% of which are rubber-related, are around 10-12 months, according to the spokeswoman.
Headquartered in Solbiate Olona, 30km northwest of Milan, Rodolfo Comerio has a portfolio of seven calendering lines for rubber, which are specifically intended for the tire industry.
The company also supplies complementary lines for the lamination of different material types and two-roll mills both for rubber mixing rooms and for calender feeding.
