Munich – German authorities have raided offices of Continental as part of their probe into the Volkswagen diesel-emissions scandal, ERJ sister publication Automotive News Europe (ANE) has reported.
Prosecutors are examining the role of several individuals at the Hanover-based group in the supply of engine components to VW Group, said the 1 July report.
Searches were carried out at Conti and VW Group locations in Hanover, Regensburg, Wolfsburg, Gifhorn, Berlin, Frankfurt und Nuernberg, added the ANE report, sourced from Reuters.
