Thomas swan announces rCB distribution partnership

Boulder, Colorado – Swan Chemical Inc., a US subsidiary of Thomas Swan & Co. Ltd, has signed a distribution partnership with Boulder-based manufacturer of recovered carbon black, Bolder Industries.  

The deal will cover the sales and distribution of BolderBlack-branded rCB, produced from end-of-life tires, in the North America region, said a 27 May statement by Swan Chemical, which specialises in the industrial rubber goods market segment. 

“We are always looking for like-minded strategic partners who expand our customer support and service model,” said Bolder Industries CEO Tony Wibbeler said. 

Swan Chemical and Bolder Industries, he went on to say, have “tremendous overlap within the tire and rubber industry, similar growth strategies, and a common view on sustainability.”

Also commenting on the agreement, Ray Fahmy, president of Swan Chemical said the rCB product offered significant value in terms of cost stability, and environmental credits that enable customers to meet their sustainability targets.
