New distribution deal covers entire range of Tronox TiO2 pigments
Paris - Safic-Alcan has extended its exclusive distribution agreement with Tronox to market all titanium dioxide pigment products by the US chemicals in Benelux and Turkey.
Under the deal, Safic-Alcan Safic-Alcan Kimya (Turkey) and Safic-Alcan Necarbo (Benelux) will distribute the entire range of TiONA branded pigments in their relevant markets effective as of 1 May and 1 April respectively.
Safic-Alcan has been distributing Tronox TiO2 in Turkey since 2012 and in Benelux since the early 1980s.
The agreement follows a similar deal in March which saw the Paris-based company extending its distribution deal to cover all Tronox pigments in France as of 1 April.
Titanium dioxide is used for surface modification and enhancement of colours in the rubber industry.
