As a result, key corporate positions will be collocated with parent company Aramco Overseas
The Hague, The Netherlands – Arlanxeo Holding has moved its global headquarters and ‘corporate centre’ from Maastricht to The Hague effective 1 May, the rubber supplier has announced.
As part of the move, Arlanxeo’s top corporate positions, including CEO, CFO and general counsel, will be collocated with parent company Aramco Overseas Co.
“The closer proximity to our parent company will help enhance Arlanxeo’s overall visibility and strengthen our ties with the Aramco family,” said CEO Donald Chen.
All other Arlanxeo Holding employees will move to “a still-to-be-decided” office in the Sittard-Geleen area close to Maastricht by mid-2021.
Formerly the synthetic rubber manufacturing unit of Lanxess AG, Arlanxeo was formed as a joint venture between the German materials supplier and Saudi Aramco in April 2016. Aramco acquired full ownership of the business in December 2018.
Arlanxeo employs 3,900 people across 20 production sites and posted sales of €3 billion in 2019.
