Michelin to resume production at UK retreading facility

All employees except those who are considered ‘vulnerable’ will be returning to work
London – Michelin is set to restart production at its tire retreading facility in Stoke-on-Trent in the coming days, the company confirmed 22 April.
Operations at the facility in the English Midlands were halted on 26 March but are expected to restart on 27 April, Michelin said in a written statement to ERJ.
All employees except those who are considered ‘vulnerable’ will be returning to work, the company pointed out.
Operational since 1972, Michelin’s truck tire retreading facility in Stoke employs 100 people.
