“Working together we can provide the much-needed technology for those already suffering,” says UK processor
Poole, UK – DP Seals Ltd has announced that it is working in partnership with McLaren Applied Technology to produce rubber mouldings and seals for hospital ventilators.
The ventilators are “urgently required both in the UK and on an international basis,” said a 26 March statement from the Poole, Dorset-based company.

“Working together we can help slow the spread of the virus and provide the much-needed technology to ease those already suffering,” said the privately-owned rubber processor.
DP Seals manufactures custom rubber mouldings for equipment used by the medical & emergency services as well as the aerospace, oil & gas, nuclear, transport and defence industries.
With over 30 presses in operation, the company lists its capabilities as including: advanced FKM, FFKM, Viton and silicone rubber technologies; in-mould rubber-to-metal bonding; and cryogenic cleaning.
