New unit to produce noise, vibration, harshness systems for existing and emerging automotive customers
Darmstadt, Germany – Vibracoustic AG is currently building a third production plant in Chongqing, China to meet automotive demand in the region, the company has confirmed to ERJ.
Vibracoustic Chongqing Co. Ltd. was established at the beginning of 2018, and the production site is now under construction, said Vibracoustic spokesman David Plaettner said in a written statement 7 April.
Set for completion in 2021, the new unit will produce NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) systems for existing and emerging automotive customers, the statement added.
Vibracoustic said it did not disclose financial figures until the investment was completed.
