Swedish group's annual general meeting will be held as planned on 28 April
Malmo, Sweden – Hexpol AB’s board of directors have proposed to postpone a decision on the dividend for fiscal year 2019 due to the uncertainties caused by Covid-19 pandemic.
The board aims to fulfil the previously communicated dividend proposal of SEK2.30 per share at an extraordinary general meeting in autumn, the Swedish rubber group announced 3 April.
Taking into account Hexpol’s “strong balance sheet”, the board said the level of the dividend would not risk Hexpol's operations or opportunities for expansion despite the challenging circumstances.
Hexpol said its annual general meeting (AGM) 2020 will be held as planned on 28 April, while precautionary measures will be taken in connection with Covid-19 spread.
