Gloves are produced at manufacturing site in Kamunting, Malaysia and will be flown into Austria
Vienna – Semperit Group is supplying 60 million pieces of gloves to the Austrian federal government to provide protective equipment for medical personnel amid the outbreak of Covid-19.
The examination and protective gloves are produced at the Sempermed production site in Kamunting, Malaysia and will flown into the country by Austrian Airlines by the end of April, Semperit said 26 March.
The first “glove-liner” landed on 27 March and will be distributed by the Red Cross.
"We are pleased that we are able to contribute to a better management of the corona crisis in Austria with our medical protective gloves," said CEO Martin Fuellenbach in a statement.
