The association's 27th annual meeting moved from late March to early September
Brussels - The European Tyre Recycling Association (ETRA) has postponed its 27th annual conference to early September amid the outbreak of Covid-19 (coronavirus) in Europe.
Originally planned for 25-27 March, the event will investigate market obstacles and new market partnerships after 2020, the ETRA said in a 9 March statement.
To be held at the NH Collection Hotel, Grand Sablon, Brussels, the conference will recap ETRA-led activities over the past year, focusing on markets and new applications for recycled tires.
A day-two plenary sessions will focus on issues confronting end-of-life tire processors – including the changing roles of recyclers as well as the impact of regulations on the industry, the statement said.
In addition to industry veterans and researchers, speakers from the EU and local government representatives will also take part in the event, according to ETRA.
