Frank Gumbinger to carry on in advisory capacity at the Austrian group until mid-August
Vienna – Semperit AG Holding chief financial officer (CFO) Frank Gumbinger has decided to terminate his contract early for “personal reasons,” the Austrian group announced 9 March.
Gumbinger will leave his position as the CFO on 19 March but will act in an advisory capacity for Semperit until mid-August, the statement added.
Gumbinger was appointed as the CFO of Semperit in December 2016 and his contract was due to run out at the end of June 2022.
"We regret his departure but respect his personal reasons and wish him ongoing success for his professional activities in Germany,” said Dr. Walter Koppensteiner, chairman of the supervisory board of Semperit AG Holding.
Petra Preining, who has been a member of the supervisory board and the audit committee of the group since 2017, has been appointed as Gumbinger’s successor ad interim.
