Coronavirus outbreak impacts the prices of all commodities in the region
London – Natural rubber (NR) prices plunged across all Far East markets as the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus in China impacted the prices of all commodities.
ERJ's snapshot of the markets showed price declines of between 6% and 11% across the region, over the two weeks to 7 Feb.
The coronavirus outbreak weighed down on an already slow economy following the Chinese New Year on 31 Jan and weak natural rubber prices earlier in January.
