HF TireTech to present splice-measuring device at TTE

Hamburg, Germany – HF TireTech Group will present an innovation in the field of splice-measuring, which is claimed to offer the precision needed to take tire-production to the next level.

The HF Q Guard “sets new benchmarks in precise splice measuring, quality control & traceability,” said a statement from the Hamburg tire machinery company 

According to HF, the innovation meets increasing market demands in terms of quality, safety and reduction of accidents caused by defective tires.

Tire makers it adds, will see material & production cost-savings, enhanced traceability and reduced downtime due to quicker reactions and process adjustments.

Another feature is the ‘big data’ capabilities of the splice-measuring technology, with a digital twin of each tire delivering all required information from the tire -making process.

The system is upgradeable on many tire-building machines on the market, noted HF, which will stage a special HF Q Guard presentation at 5:20pm on 26 Feb at TTE.
