Rubber Compounding Holland BV was previously owned by India-based Elgi Rubber Group
Nijkerkerveen, The Netherlands – QEW Speciality Compounding BV, part of the Dutch QEW Engineered Rubber Group, has acquired Rubber Compounding Holland BV from India-based Elgi Rubber Group.
The transaction, the terms of which were not disclosed, was completed 27 Dec 2019, said a QEW statement 17 Jan.
The addition, said QEW, brings a “significant competitive advantage” for the company’s customers and enables the Dutch group to become a “one stop shop” for all rubber compounds.
Post-acquisition, the QEW subsidiary has changed name to QEW Specialty Compounding BV/Rubber Compounding Holland, with the trade name Rubber Compounding Holland continuing to exist.
The unit specialises in advanced rubber compounds for demanding products and applications.
The offering includes special black compounds, coloured compounds, foam compounds, fluoroelastomers and silicones.
The company also stated that it would intensify its focus on “compound innovation, development and manufacturing excellence.”
