Company to market a portfolio of Evonik silica and silane additives, including products for rubber industry
Paris – Safic-Alcan has reached a partnership agreement with German chemicals company Evonik Industries AG to distribute some of the company's chemical additives in Greece.
The recently set-up Greek subsidiary Safic-Alcan Hellas started marketing a portfolio of Evonik silica and silane products at the beginning of the year, French distributor said in a 14 Jan statement.
Among others, Safi-Alcan will market Evonik’s Ultrasil precipitated silica, which can be used as reinforcing fillers for technical rubber products as well as low rolling resistance tires in Greece.
In addition, the company’s Aerosil fumed silica, used for reinforcing silicone rubber and technical rubber goods will be marketed by Safic-Alcan Hellas.
