Company working with customers, partners to address quality and efficiency challenges in market
Trento, Italy - Tyre Retreading Machinery (TRM), part of Italian Marangoni Group, is rebranding with a new logo to reflect recent organisational changes in the company.
Based in Ala, Trento, TRM was part of tire machinery maker Maragoni Meccanica, which was spun off by Marangoni Group as a separate entity in June last year.
In line with the new brand the company’s email domain has changed from @marangoni.com to @retreading.tech.
TRM manufactures retreading machinery for a number of segments including niche markets such as off-road and aircraft tires.
The company also supplies truck buffers and hot-cure production cells for retreading passenger car and truck tires.
“We are working alongside our customers and strategic partners to develop [our] technologies,” said TRM general manager Alessandro Villa told ERJ.
This is in response to “the new challenges that the retreading market is facing, primarily quality and efficiency,” Villa added in a 7 Jan written statement.
In recent months, the company has particularly focused on automation technology, delivering three “robotised” cells to retreaders in the US and Germany.
“These could include the full integration of the industry 4.0 principle in our machines to collect and manage process data,” Villa added.
TRM has 25 employees and exports products mainly to Europe, Americas and Asia.
