Kenneth Bloom named as new president Hexpol Compounding Americas
Sandusky, Ohio – Hexpol AB has appointed Kenneth Bloom as new president Hexpol Compounding Americas, the company announced 9 Dec.
Bloom succeeds Tracy Garrison who is leaving the company at the end of the year to join the newly formed Geon Performance Solutions, the former performance products and solution business of PolyOne Corp.
Bloom takes on his position as president Hexpol Compounding Americas as of 1 Jan 2020.
Most recently, Bloom held the position of CEO and president at Preferred Compounding, which was acquired by Hexpol earlier in the summer for €205 million.
He holds BSc in engineering and an MBA in Finance.
"Ken [Bloom] is an industry veteran and has, since 2006, successfully developed Preferred Compounding… significantly,” said Mikael Fryklund, president and CEO Hexpol.
According to Fryklund, Bloom has a customer centric approach and “extensive experience” in the rubber compounding industry.
