Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio-based company appointed Jim Vogel as president
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio – Steelastic LLC has named Jim Vogel president of the company.
He replaces the firm's former president, Ian Dennis, who will remain with Heico – Steelastic's parent company – and transition to the role of operational excellence project manager based in the UK.
"We believe that with Jim's years of capital equipment experience and his commercial background, he will be an excellent fit for the Steelastic brand," Barb Philibert, CEO and president of Pettibone, LLC, another division of Heico, said in a 6 Dec statement.
Vogel brings more than 20 years of commercial and leadership experience, most recently serving as general manager for two General Electric business units for the last eight years.
He served eight years on active duty in the US Army and graduated from the US Military Academy.
Founded in 1970, Steelastic manufactures extrusion-based systems for manufacturing belt, cap strip, inner liner, and apex components for various types of tires.
