Quarter also saw VMI's first delivery of its UNIXX-integrated tire-building machine platform
Haaksbergen, The Netherlands – Tire & rubber machinery maker VMI has achieved year-on-year increases in third-quarter sales and earnings, parent group TKH Group NV has reported.
Innovations in the ‘tire building industry’ segment contributed to “targeted improvement” in growth markets, TKH said in a recent trading update.
The Dutch group also noted VMI’s delivery of its first UNIXX-integrated tire-building machine platform to a ‘launching’ customer.
While TKH identified challenges facing its industrial connectivity and machine vision units, “activities in most other segments are developing positive[ly] and in line with the expectations."
“We are well-positioned for orders and have a strong pipeline for our innovations,” the Euronext Amsterdam-listed group added in its 19 Nov business update.
Last year, TKH posted earnings of €185 million on sales of €1.6 billion across its three business segments: Telecom, Building and Industrial Solutions.
