US company manufactures additive powdered blends for the rubber, plastics, adhesives, coatings and composites industries.
Elyria, Ohio – Addipel has moved to a new headquarters and production facility in Elyria, Ohio, the Maroon Group company has announced.
The relocation from its previous base in Avon Lake, Ohio, is in response to pressure on manufacturing and warehousing capacity, said a 6 Dec Addipel statement.
The US company manufactures custom additive powdered blends and active, non-dust blends for the rubber, plastics, adhesives, coatings and composites industries.
The new 40,000 square foot warehouse and production facility houses ribbon blenders, high speed mixers and compaction mills.
As an independent supplier, Addipel claims that it can “utilise raw materials from any source and also offers a wide range of materials that can be formulated and processed.”
Offerings include UV absorbers, antioxidants, lubricants, mineral fillers, flame retardants, anti-blocks, anti-static agents, clarifiers and heat stabilisers.
“We have made significant investments to expand capacity via new production equipment and building up our operations team,” said Jake Reichard, general manager of Addipel.
“Our ISO certified facility and formulation expertise “are providing a competitive advantage for our customers and our suppliers,” added Reichard.
