Tracy Garrison, president of Hexpol Compounding Americas and Hexpol TP Compounding to take up position outside of the group.
Sandusky, Ohio – Tracy Garrison, president of Hexpol Compounding Americas and Hexpol TP Compounding, will leave the company at the end of 2019.
The firm said in a 5 Nov statement that Garrison has decided to take a position outside of the Hexpol Group.
Mikael Fryklund, CEO and president of Hexpol AB, will become acting president of both Hexpol Compounding Americas and Hexpol TP Compounding until a successor has been appointed.
The Hexpol statement did not name which company Garrison will be going to.
"Tracy Garrison has been instrumental in our successful growth strategy to considerably expand the Rubber Compounding business in Americas," Fryklund said in a statement.
The firm has grown significantly under Garrison's leadership. Most recently, Hexpol added Preferred Compounding in a €206 million deal, combining North America's two largest custom mixers.
Hexpol also disclosed plans to close its Kardoes Rubber Co. subsidiary in LaFayette, Alabama, by the end of 2019.
The firm recently reported 11% growth in the Americas for the third quarter while the company as a whole saw increased sales of 15% to €1.1 billion for the first nine months of 2019.
